Farmer School' Projects
Part of our program is to build good relationships with the local communities. In Nicaragua most of the natural attractions are located within rural towns far from cities and facilities, that’s why there is a lack of amenities and material for schools, health centers, churches and sport centers. Our agency is committed to support locals through sustainable tourism practices.

That is why we developed a social program which funds farmers’ schools to benefit children who are attending primary studies. The program is sponsored by you when you book a camping expedition with us. Eco Camp Expeditions makes a donation of $5 which is used to buy school supplies for schools in the areas where our expeditions pass by.

Would you like to be part of it?

Everyone is welcome to be part of the change, we encourage you to join us for an expedition and support the development of Nicaragua. If you would like to make a direct donation, our management will be glad to advise you and escort you toa local school where you can give directly to the locals.

Help us to Help


Part of our program is to find groups of people interested in supporting rural schools through our agency. We prepare pilot programs focused on building up infrastructure for schools within one or two weeks. The groups sponsored will use any donations to buy materials and they will start the construction on their own. For those organized groups coming from abroad who want to participate, Eco Camp Expeditions organize a special expeditions of one week with a 50% discount.
